  11. As always I'm perplexed by the question: How did the aliens know to come
  12. here? I mean, there isn't anything particularly facinating about our solar
  13. system (except for the fact that there is life on the third planet and that
  14. might not be so extraordinary).

  16. So say that it has something to do with us having broadcast our T.V. and
  17. radio signals for the last 50 years (give or take 10 years). With this 
  18. reasoning that would mean that any inhabited technoglogically advanced 
  19. race on another planet could only be within 25 lightyears from here. And
  20. that's only if they were waiting on that signal and had all the spaceships
  21. and other reasources ready to go to get here (even then at the speed of light
  22. they would only be getting here now).

  24. Since people have been claiming to see UFOs for quite some time now there 
  25. must have been something else that brought them here.

  27. Perhaps (and stay with me now) there has always been a large E-R phenomina
  28. in our part of the solar system which has been going on for quite some time.
  29.  
  30. As we all know the earth has a powerful magnetic field surrounding it. A 
  31. magnetic field which surrounds the moon. The moon has a large quantity of
  32. metal in it. As we know from physics any conductor cutting magnetic fields
  33. of force will produce a charge. Because of the large number of impurities 
  34. in the moon, it would give off alot of E-R.

  36. Why haven't we detected these charges. Well perhaps the Van Allen belts 
  37. acts as a shield for most of the E-R. As for proof well I can't offer any.
  38. But an observation, if the moon has been undergoing this charging effect
  39. for a long period of time the moon would also become magnetically charged.
  40. So people claim to have noticed that the moon, though always keeping one
  41. face towards the earth, wobbles back and forth. It could be said that 
  42. it acts like a compass trying to align itself with the earths magnetic
  43. fields.

  45. This is just an idea, I am not a physisist (though I am interested in physics)
  46. so I would actually enjoy hearing from people who can rip my theory to shredds.
